Simple procurement and installation process
3
You can configure Tiny D to match your location and operations — from grid‑connected units inside an existing resort to fully off‑grid cabins in remote vineyards or forest sites.

Off‑grid solutions
solar energy kit 5 kWp — enables cabins in remote locations and reduces energy bills.
off‑grid toilet — fewer permits and less infrastructure on site.
fire or pellet stove — autonomous heating and a signature guest experience.

Efficiency & comfort upgrades
terrace sections — outdoor space that increases perceived value of each night.
kitchenette with fridge and sink — longer stays and higher average revenue per guest.
infrared heating panels or underfloor heating — comfortable shoulder seasons and winter use.
Velux skylight window — more daylight and a «wow» factor in reviews.
electric towel dryer — hotel‑level bathroom comfort.
mezzanine ladder and rail — safe and convenient access to upper sleeping or storage area.
Additional options for different business models
We used years of design and on‑site experience to create a cabin that works equally well as a holiday home, guest room, home office or micro hotel suite. Natural materials, careful acoustics and good daylight make Tiny D feel calm and premium, even at a compact size.

The thick wooden structure provides excellent heat and sound insulation, several times higher than brick or concrete of similar thickness, which is crucial for undisturbed sleep and comfortable stays in windy coastal or forest locations. This lets you offer year‑round cabins with predictable comfort and energy bills.
Tiny cabin experience your guests remember
Tiny D is a compact, high‑performance tiny house that delivers only what your guests really need: intelligently planned space, comfort and privacy without wasting square meters or energy. For hospitality businesses, this means more bookable units on the same land and a higher revenue per m².

Compared to a typical house, Tiny D consumes less energy in both construction and daily operation, which lowers your running costs and environmental footprint. In an industry where buildings account for around 40% of global energy use, compact units like Tiny D help you grow capacity while keeping impact under control.

So my spring story ended there...
It was one of the best getaways for me. But the time to say goodbye suddenly came. I must admit it is truly amazing how this tiny cabin does not affect the natural space where it's located. Guys from Brette Haus just removed the furniture, folded the house the next day, and relocated it to a lakeside. There was no sign of this cabin when I came back in a week.
I have learned the cabin is made with cutting-edge technology, and it's a kind of transformable architecture. There is no problem in folding and relocating it to another beautiful location. Such a sustainable nomadic solution doesn't require much paperwork!
The huge windows of this tiny cabin allowed me to fully enjoy an amazing view and the spirit of the Baltic forest.
I consider myself a child of nature, so I have a special connection with it. It gives me power and inspiration when I am meeting the dawn in the middle of the forest, especially near the sea.
The Baltic Sea coast is very windy, so I took a winter outfit with me, and it was beneficial for walking along the beach, but absolutely useless inside the house. It was very comfortable inside, even during stormy nights.
Here, I could just get away from everything and contemplate different natural events such as the power of strong wind and the fall of a strong oak, but at the same time, I am in “isolation” I can’t hear any noise or turbulence inside the cabin. By the way, 90% of the house parts are wooden, it flows in the air!
The house looked pretty plain, but there was a shower and WC already installed. This house was truly a quiet harbour for me, I loved finding myself in a peaceful space.
I always wanted to live in a home like that, not a box or a container. Despite compact dimensions, the home is very spacious and broad.
This spring turned out to be relatively stressful, and I decided to move outside the city to improve my work-life balance. I thought living in a tiny cabin at the seashore would be so cinematic! I came across Brette Haus rental ad and realized that the house is cosy enough for my dog and me.

Everything You wANT to Know
About Tiny D
  • What is Tiny D and who is it designed for?
Tiny D is a 15m² movable prefab tiny house created by Brette Haus and WSBY specifically for hospitality businesses (boutique hotels, glamping sites, wineries, eco-resorts and rental operators). It functions as a fully equipped guest unit with bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and utility zone, allowing you to add profitable accommodation on woodland, vineyard, coastal or garden sites with minimal infrastructure and fast ROI.
  • How is Tiny D different from other tiny houses?
Tiny D is engineered as a revenue-generating asset, not just a lifestyle product. It's optimized for hospitality operations with high-quality insulation, year-round comfort, simple maintenance, and a compact footprint that maximizes nightly rates per m², offering 2+2 accommodations. The cabin delivers hotel-level amenities (full bathroom, kitchen, excellent acoustics) in a small, energy-efficient package designed for repeat guest use.
  • What is the lifespan of a Tiny D cabin?
With regular maintenance, Tiny D cabins can last 50+ years — just like any high-quality wooden structure. The natural wood construction, premium insulation, and durable framework ensure long-term performance in coastal, forest, and mountain climates.
  • Where are Tiny D cabins manufactured?
Every Tiny D cabin is crafted in Latvia by experienced engineers and carpenters using sustainably sourced timber and premium finishing components. We maintain strict quality and environmental standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Business & investment
  • What is the typical ROI for a Tiny D unit in hospitality?
ROI depends on your location, occupancy rates, and nightly pricing. Primary our customers breakeven after 480–500 nights. Many operators see faster payback due to minimal site preparation, energy-efficient operation, and the premium «cabin in nature» positioning that commands higher nightly rates.
  • Can Tiny D cabins be financed?
While we don't offer direct financing, many clients secure funding through local banks or lenders. We're happy to provide documentation needed for loan applications. If you're a business buyer with a solid financial background, we can work with you on extended payment terms (factoring). Ask our team for details.
  • Can I start with one cabin and scale later?
Absolutely. Tiny D is designed for scalable growth. Start with 1–2 units to test demand and guest response. Add more cabins as your business grows without committing large capital upfront or blocking land with permanent structures. However, it might be reasonable to order a batch of 2 units to split shipping and lifting costs.
  • What is included in the standard Tiny D price?
Our standard pricing includes the cabin structure, finished interior, full bathroom (shower, WC, handbasin), pre-installed plumbing and electrical systems, and basic utility hookups. Transport to your delivery point is calculated individually. Optional upgrades such as kitchenette, solar kits, heating systems, terraces, and special finishes are specified in the detailed proposal.
Delivery & Installation
  • How long does it take to manufacture and deliver a Tiny D cabin?
Typical production time is 12–14 weeks from order confirmation. Delivery timelines vary based on your location, but we manage the entire logistics process to ensure smooth coordination. Installation on-site typically takes just a few hours to one day, depending on access and site conditions.
  • How is the Tiny D cabin delivered?
Tiny D is delivered as a completed prefab unit on a low-bed trailer. The cabin arrives ready for installation — no complex on-site assembly required. Even remote or hard-to-reach locations are accessible thanks to the compact transport footprint.
  • Do you offer installation services?
Yes. Depending on your location, we can provide full installation services or recommend trusted local partners to assist with setup. Our team will guide you on best practices for site preparation and anchoring.
  • How is the Tiny D cabin anchored?
Tiny D cabins are typically anchored using ground screws or light concrete pads, minimizing environmental impact and allowing for easy future relocation if needed. Our team will advise on the best anchoring solution based on your soil type and site conditions. However, it is recommended to consult with a local specialist.
  • Do I need building permits or permissions?
In most regions, any new structure (movable or permanent) requires approval from local authorities. We strongly recommend checking local zoning and building regulations before placing your order. Brette Haus can provide technical specifications and documentation to support your permit applications. Often, hospitality projects can get a permit for accommodation tiny cabins using a fast track.
Operations & Guest Experience
  • Can Tiny D cabins be used year-round, including winter?
Absolutely. Tiny D cabins are designed for year-round comfort with high-performance insulation that meets cold-climate standards. The thick wooden structure provides excellent heat and sound insulation — several times better than brick or concrete of similar thickness — ensuring comfortable guest stays even in windy coastal or mountain locations. Optional upgrades like infrared or underfloor heating extend shoulder season and winter operations.
  • How are utilities connected?
Each Tiny D cabin comes pre-fitted for easy connection to standard electricity, water, and sewage systems. Hookup is straightforward, similar to connecting a small residential unit. For off-grid projects, we offer solar energy kits, rainwater harvesting systems, and composting or off-grid toilet solutions.
  • Can I configure a fully off-grid Tiny D cabin?
Yes. You can equip Tiny D with a solar energy kit (5 kWp), off-grid toilet, fire or pellet stove for heating, and rainwater collection systems. This allows you to place cabins in remote vineyards, forest sites, or coastal areas without access to municipal utilities, reducing infrastructure costs and expanding your location options.
  • What maintenance is required?
Maintenance is similar to any high-quality wooden structure: regular exterior treatments (staining or sealing every few years), inspection of joints and seals, and standard HVAC or plumbing upkeep. We provide a detailed maintenance guide with every cabin to help your team keep the unit in excellent condition.
  • How do guests typically rate the comfort and space?
Guests describe Tiny D as surprisingly spacious despite its compact dimensions, with full bathroom amenities, good acoustics, generous natural light, and excellent thermal comfort. The natural wood interior and careful design create a calm, premium experience that drives positive reviews and repeat bookings.
Sustainability & Environmental Impact
  • Can I add my hotel branding or custom interior finishes?
Yes. We can incorporate your brand colors, custom furniture packages, and interior finishes to ensure Tiny D units align with your property's identity and guest experience standards.
  • How energy-efficient is Tiny D?
Tiny D consumes significantly less energy in both construction and daily operation than a typical house of comparable comfort. High-quality wood-fiber insulation, natural materials, and efficient space planning reduce heating and cooling costs, lowering your environmental footprint and operating expenses — crucial for hospitality businesses where buildings often account for 40% of energy use.
  • Is Tiny D truly sustainable?
Yes. Tiny D is built from renewable wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction is carbon-neutral and produces minimal waste thanks to precision manufacturing. The cabin's compact footprint, long lifespan, and energy efficiency align with ESG principles and support your property's sustainability goals.
  • What is the environmental impact on the installation site?
Tiny D is designed for minimal site disturbance. Light foundations (ground screws or compact concrete pads) mean no deep excavation, reduced soil disruption, and the option to relocate the cabin in the future. This makes Tiny D ideal for sensitive natural areas, vineyards, and protected landscapes where you want to preserve the environment while adding accommodation capacity.
